MYBC Head Beach Coach – Michael Cameron

Michael is a former Canadian professional beach volleyball player. He has coached as a head coach for Niagara Rapids Volleyball Club and Halton Hurricanes Volleyball Club, and Madawaska Volleyball Camp. He has been the Development Director for Milton Edge Volleyball Club since it’s inception in 2015, overseeing and head coaching all Skills Development Programs, including OVA Spikes Learn to Play, OVA Spikes on the Beach, OVA Parents and Players, Skills Academy, Halton House League private coaching. He has also head coached and assistant coached Milton Edge Razors and Blades teams. Volleyball is his passion and has been ingrained in his life since a young age. He continues to play beach, while coaching all 3 of his daughters in both indoor rep volleyball and competitive beach volleyball.

It's easier to take your outdoor skills into the gym than to bring your indoor skills outside. Simple reason. Beach volleyball forces
you to have all the skills. That's why I think it's a good idea for indoor players to play on the beach....Learning those skills can
only help improve a player's indoor."
